Cost Accountant
Playworld Systems, Inc., an international manufacturer of playground and recreation equipment, is seeking a Cost Accountant. This position reports to the Controller and will work closely with the senior management team in multiple areas of decision support, including; direct management of all cost accounting operations, product costing & profitability, shop-floor/inventory controls, budget/forecast preparation and performance metrics.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with at least 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong MRP/ERP software background. Candidates should be able to work equally well alone or as part of a team, possess good communication skills, and be detailed oriented. Experience with Microsoft Office applications is required.
