The measure of our commitment to the environment
Playworld Systems is the only playground equipment manufacturer to measure its total cradle-to-gate carbon footprint.
Translation: unlike some companies that only measure the greenhouse gases that come out of their manufacturing plants, Playworld Systems takes the time to measure all the greenhouse gases our entire supply chain puts into the world, from the mines that dig up our raw materials to the finished products we send out our factory doors. We even measure the energy that goes into the computers on our desks and the paper that comes out of our copiers.
It’s a lot of measuring, but we think it’s worth it, because it helps us find newer, bigger, and better ways to eliminate, reduce, reuse, and recycle waste—and ultimately reduce our total carbon footprint.
